Skill: Heavy single elevated deadlifts and hang snatches
WOD -15 min amrap: 5 Thrusters (115/75#), 10 deadlifts and 15 burpees over the bar
So why did we raise those deadlifts today? Well for one it is easier to keep your back in a flat/neutral position when the bar is raised. You are in a better position to pull that heavy weight! It also allows you to get comfortable pulling a heavier load as you are in a better position.
So did you hit a new 1 rep max today in your pull? If so keep it up as hopefully this will translate into a heavier lift from the floor down the road
