On Monday July 30, we will be starting a new programming cycle. We are going to change it up a bit this time around and you will see a lot more variety in skill work. There will be some new lifts that we haven't programmed before and some new twists on old favourites.
The lifts are going to change week to week this time around, which will prevent your body from accommodating to the stimulus. This is another way of saying that we are going to force your muscles to adapt to new movements frequently.
Not only will this keep classes fresh and fun, but it will also drive your progression and help you bust through lifting plateaus. It may take some getting used to, but even though we will not be squatting every Monday (for example), we will still be lifting heavy and the results should speak for themselves.
You will be seeing more cash out / finishers at the end of workouts with this change. Trying to get in some extra accessory work. Most classes you should have time during the class to complete this, but if time doesn't permit, feel free to get this done as homework.
