Our front space renovations and introducing the Physactiv Team

As some of you may have noticed the past week or two, we have starting to renovate the front space. Starting this Wednesday there will be additional renovations (aka demolition) happening and we would ask that you please avoid entering the front area during this time.  We hope it will only be a day or two but we will make a post once the access is reopened. In the meantime we have relocated the front desk and waiting area into the main gym and access after Tuesday night will be via the garage doors. We also ask that you have a look at the LOST & FOUND bins in the front room (lots of shoes) as anything left in this space will be removed.
What are the new renovations you ask?

Well to start, our intention is to create a larger, brighter front gym space with a redesigned entrance and reception area.  We are hoping this new and improved Crux 2 will allow us to offer more class options, better open gym and personal training space and an overall improved gym experience.

Along with this space we are also adding a treatment room in conjunction with a new partnership we are excited to announce with Physactiv. Physactiv will be on-site providing physiotherapy services to Crux. We think this will be a huge benefit to you, our members, allowing for assessments and treatments to take place in house and offering assigned care (if needed) to be conducted by your own Crux trainers.  :)

You may have seen some of the Physactiv team at the gym over the past couple weeks as they slowly transitioning into our space.  Once the renovations are complete they will be available on a more permanent basis.

So with that being said, we would like to introduce you to the team:

Asa is a S&C coach who works alongside the physiotherapists.  Asa will also be training his performance athletes out of our space over the next few months.

Julien and Ismail are both physiotherapists who bring over 10 years of experience to the team and will be working closely with the coaches of Crux to provide a comprehensive approach to physiotherapy treatment. Julien and Ismail are happy to meet with our members for a free consultation if anyone is interested in finding out more about their care.
