Crux Nutrition Program Works & We Can Prove It!

We all know nutrition is the foundation of everything we do.  You can't out-exercise a bad diet. We all know we need to eat better, form better habits, but we also all know the gap between knowing something and doing something about it can be wide. 

Two of our hard-working members, Tracy and Lori took our 4 Week Accountability Challenge and shared their results. If you are interested in understanding the basics of nutrition and give you the tools necessary to create new habits:  Structure, Support, and Accountability we are here to help!


What interested you most about the 4 Week Accountability Package? 

Tracy: I liked the fact that I had to post pictures of my food and snacks to Rhonda. It was like having someone watch everything I put into my body. 

Lori: I had completed 2 challenges with Rhonda previously, and was very happy (and surprised by) my results. I new she had managed to keep me motivated this far and I thought, ‘who better to keep helping me but Rhonda.’  I really wanted to continue what I started and keep the momentum going. I loved the results I was getting and did not want them to end. 

What did you find most helpful about the program? 

Tracy: I liked the weekly recipes and meal planning. Even if I changed it a bit, I always had a plan. Rhonda gave me some amazing recipes that have become favourites.

Lori: Ongoing support throughout the 4 week program! It was nice to have someone checking in on me and making sure I was sticking to the plan the whole way through! If I did mess up, Rhonda was there to pick me up and dust me off. She was great at staying positive and knowing I was coming to see her every week was very motivating! 

What did you learn from the program?
Tracy: I learned how to conquer my cravings with healthier options. I’m not saying that I’m never going to mess up, but I have the tools to make better choices and always try to go with the healthier option.

Lori: How to be prepared!!! Also how to avoid temptation! Rhonda taught me how to plan, plan, plan.  I also learned how great I feel being at a new, healthier weight now. I have so much more energy and am so much happier than I was before I started this journey. Rhonda really taught me to believe in myself. She kept me inspired and motivated to keep going. I also loved the goal setting. Actually setting dates to the plan. That helps a lot!

Would you recommend this program to others?
Tracy: I would definitely recommend this program to others and already have.

Rhonda had so many kind and encouraging words for me every week. She made changes when changes needed to be made so that I didn’t get “stuck”. She was so reassuring at times where I might not have believed it was possible. The accountability was extremely helpful!

Anything else you would like to add?
Tracy: If your willing to put in the work this program will work for you. Rhonda will give you the tools to help you get to your best self. 

Lori: Yes. I am down 24 pounds since I started working with Rhonda in September 2017. I am so happy I made the decision to jump in on her September challenge and get right into the programming after the challenges to keep me accountable. She has managed to keep me going since then. I now see her monthly for Maintenance Coaching. I just told her how excited and motivated I am already because I know I get to meet with her again next week and go over more things to keep me moving forward! It really does help to have someone with your best interest, motivating you and encouraging you through it all. Thank you for offering this great service at Crossfit Crux!
