Another cycle has wrapped up and we will move into a new strength cycle at CrossFit Crux starting Monday. A lot of thought goes into how we program our workouts. Our number one priority is to help you, our members, measurably improve your fitness levels. We also want to make the workouts challenging and fun while keeping everyone safe and injury free.
We are squatting twice this cycle, which is awesome and will build some serious strength. We are also working on some of the skills that will show up in the new athletic levels (and are typical weaknesses). Things like static holds, core work, pulls, rowing and running when weather permits. Back to basics for fitness, building the foundation while giving our performance members a chance to work on some more advanced stuff.
Monday - Squat + static dip holds
Tuesday- Press + hollow holds
Wednesday - Fitness-Deadlift, Performance-Snatch
Thursday-Pullups (volume training)
Friday- Fitness- Front/Zombie Squat, Performance-Front Squat from floor
