Another cycle has wrapped up and we are into a new strength cycle at CrossFit Crux. A lot of thought goes into how we program our workouts. Our number one priority is to help you, our members, measurably improve your fitness levels. We also want to make the workouts challenging and fun while keeping everyone safe and injury free.
The cycle for the next month is as follows:
Monday - max effort lower body (squat, deadlift, snatch, clean). sets of 1-5 reps max effort
Tuesday- dynamic effort upper body (jerk, press, bench, pull ups, dips) EMOM style with 50-70% loads, focus on moving the bar as quick as possible
Wednesday-GPP (Run, row, farmers carry, sled work or double metcon).
Thursday - dynamic effort lower body
Friday - max effort upper body
Saturday - gymnastics (muscle ups, bar muscle ups, rope climbs, HSPU etc.)
