Three Sessions To Prepare for The Open

Did you have to scale last year’s CrossFit Open because of handstand push ups, muscle-ups, or toes-to-bar? Do you think you could have improved your scores if your movement had been more efficient? Our Skills & Drills sessions are designed to help you do your very best on all the workouts this year.

If you’ve never participated in the Open before, here is your opportunity to hone your skills before your debut. Skills & Drills will take place in three sessions leading up to the Open. We will focus on developing gymnastics and barbell skills that are commonly used in the Open, making you as adept and efficient as possible as an athlete.

Session 1 ( Sat Feb 6th @ 12 pm) will focus on Muscle Ups and pull ups ..we all know that is what everyone is looking for this year. 

Session 2 (Sat Feb 13 @ 11 am ) will focus on Handstand push up strength and endurance

Session 3 (Sat Feb 20th @ 10 am) will work Barbell cycling (moving the barbell quickly and safely for multiple reps) , Clean and Jerk and repeatability test

We will also talk about endurance strategy and efficiency (planning the workout, pacing, and calculating rest).
